Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India and Triple-Qualified Attorney (India, New York and England & Wales), Ritunjay specialises in high-stakes arbitration and litigation, representing clients across multiple jurisdictions. With over a decade of experience, his practice covers complex ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations (India- & foreign-seated) and civil & corporate commercial disputes before courts and tribunals.
Ritunjay has acted for global corporations, financial institutions, investment intermediaries, startups, and HNIs before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, tribunals, and international arbitral institutions such as SIAC, ICC, LCIA, AAA, and DIAC. His expertise spans industries including finance, technology, energy, automobiles, construction, and hospitality, with a particular focus on shareholders’ and investment disputes, insolvency resolution, debt enforcement, construction arbitration, unfair & prohibited trade practices, contract enforcement, oppression & mismanagement claims and corporate restructuring schemes.
Before founding Vidvat Legal in August 2023, Ritunjay was associated with J. Sagar Associates, Delhi and CMS Induslaw, Delhi, handling some of India’s most complex legal matters. His work in international dispute resolution has been recognised by the Forbes India’s Legal Powerlist (2021 & 2023) and the Global Lex-Falcon Award (2022).
Ritunjay is also a published author on international commercial & investment arbitration, civil procedure, cryptocurrency regulations, and debt enforcement laws, with contributions in Investment Treaty Arbitration Review (ITAR), Wolters Kluwer, International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG), Asian International Arbitration Journal (AIAJ) and Taxmann.
